One of the biggest challenges when constructing decorative concrete is meeting the owner’s expectations, but what happens when the homeowner is recently retired from a nearly 50-year career as a concrete contractor?  The expectations are even higher.  That is why Bomanite Licensee Stephens & Smith Construction utilized Bomanite Imprint Systems for their installation of this stunning stamped concrete courtyard area.  This innovative system in the hands of the highly creative and skilled craftsmen at Stephens & Smith translated perfectly into extraordinary architectural concrete paving.

Bomanite Bomacron is the textured version of the original cast-in-place, colored, and imprinted architectural concrete paving.  This product provides the added dimension of texture and relief between the joint lines and can simulate a wide variety of natural materials including slate, granite, limestone, sandstone, wood, and cobblestone.

The homeowners chose to have the patio area extended during the construction phase, resulting in over 1,500 square feet of usable space.  The Bomanite Bomacron Canyon Stone textured pattern was selected for this installation and was paired with Bomanite Coquina Color Hardener and Caramel Release Agent.  This trifecta adds an antiqued look that perfectly complements the architectural features and aesthetic of the home and the addition of the centralized firepit makes this a warm and welcoming space to entertain family and friends.
